Places to Visit in Florida
Before moving here we had visited Florida many times over the years. However, we were either visiting relatives or staying at a destination spot like Disneyland. Once we settled into the Gulf Coast, we began to take day and weekend road trips and discovered how diverse and amazing Florida truly is.
If you want to do the theme parks, and you should at least once, you won't need help finding those. But if you want to explore Florida and find the hidden wonders of this state, that's where we come in. Explore our articles below. Take a bike trip, kayak the Gulf of Mexico, go camping in one of our state parks, or choose a destination in one of our neighboring states.
Florida RV Camping
Florida has 175 state parks and nearly 60 of them provide campgrounds. Whether you tent camp or have an RV, it's one of the most affordable ways to see the diversity of Florida. If you have an RV, are going to be getting one, or even if you just want to tent camp we have something special for you.
Road Trip Essentials
When driving the roads of Florida, you may run into some things that you aren't quite used to. Like love bugs splattering all over your windshield. The Florida sun and heat provide other concerns regarding your car that you don't have to worry about in other states. And of course, it's always safety first. So we put together a Road Trip Packing List for you. It's FREE to our visitors and comes with our RV Camping Checklist and link to a State Park Campground guide.
