Sweet and Spicy Juice Recipe

Here is a cool, refreshing juice recipe that will give you some needed hydration during the summer's hottest days. Like most juices, there is a sweetness to it. In this recipe, however we spiced things up a bit too. The result is a satisfying and tasty summer drink that's an immune system builder that can also tackle bacterial infections naturally.

Equipment

  • Juicer or quality blender

Ingredients

  • 1 ea Apple
  • 1 ea Beet
  • 1 ea Lemon or Lime
  • 1 2 inch Piece of Ginger
  • 1 2 inch Piece of Tumeric
  • 6 ea Mint Leaves
  • 6 ea Basil Leaves
  • 1 pinch Cayenne Pepper

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients except the cayenne pepper to the juicer or blender
  • Blend until watery
  • Blend in the Cayenne Pepper
  • Chill in the refrigerator and serve over ice
